HUMAN ERROR

When a disgruntled astronaut is stranded on an unorthodox space mission he must team with an eccentric robot to try and survive and reconnect with his family back home. But as crises escalate he may have to find resources he never knew he had...and make choices he never knew he could.
Nerve Centre are delighted to showcase their short sci-fi film, “Human Error”, created and produced in conjunction with the participants of their Screen Academy programmes.


The film project was funded by Northern Ireland Screen and Belfast Harbour Commissioners. "Human Error" was created and produced in conjunction with the participants of the Screen Academy programmes. Mentored and guided by industry professional, young people aged 16 - 19 year old came from across Northern Ireland to attend the Scriptwriting, Production Design, Costume, Make Up, Prop & Set Construction, Editing and VFX Academies to produce this short sci-fi film.

Screen Academies provide training, mentorship and exposure to the film, TV, animation, games and vfx industry for young people aged 16-19 who are not currently at or enrolled in University. Local industry professionals share their expert knowledge and lead the hands-on industry standard training.

The Screen Academies are funded by NI Screen and supported by the BFI and Belfast Harbour Studios.
