Other In My Classroom

Other In My Classroom explores the real stories and struggles of life as a refugee and also those in socially excluded communities.

The theme introduces emotion and the value of personal experience in exploring these stories of navigating new countries and cultures. Presenting opportunities for thought and insight into what people leave behind when they are forced to leave their country or family or the experiences of coming of age in a new place with the wish to build a better life.

The thematic framework allows for creative exploration within the lessons into the way our identities and perspectives shape how we are and how we respond to others.
