Tradition and progress

Tradition and Progress explores the role of tradition in the modern world, both in a positive sense but also ambivalent, and asks if habit can hold back progress? The films will provide the platform to address tradition and examine if it interrupts the flow of modernity and progress, whilst also looking at the consequences on our health and heritage. The topics also allow focus on how the media is now used to shape and inform us, addressing the ways social media has currently changed how we view our world. They inspire classes devoted to the confrontation of man with technology and the search for a balance between the rights of an individual and the needs of society’s development.
